With so many jewellers to choose from, we understand how difficult it must be to know which has the best quality stock, offers genuine stones and authenticity of age whilst not forgetting superb customer service. Finding a jeweller you can rely on can amount to the proverbial needle in a haystack, but we at Heirloom Jewellery try to make this task as easy as possible by providing our customers with the following four unwavering promises:

1. Quality

We believe this is THE most important factor in purchasing jewellery, and for that reason we never skimp on the quality of items we offer. All our pieces are vetted for condition and manufacture to ensure superb standards across the board.

With so many substandard pieces flooding the market from both the Far East and certain media channels, it can be quite a minefield for the discerning buyer. Many of these pieces are of poor quality manufacture and manmade or enhanced gems are offered as inferior substitues for quality craftsmanship and natural gems; however true quality speaks for itself. It is in the feel of the item, the craftsmanship and pride the designer has taken in creating the piece, the beauty of the design and the excellence of the raw materials.

For this reason Heirloom Jewellery specialises only in European and American Pre-Millennium pieces, together with high quality Antique and Vintage jewels.

2. Authenticity of Age.

With over 40 years of experience behind us, and strong links within the jewellery trade we take great care to ensure authenticity of age for all our Antique pieces. Each item is appraised thoroughly and any indications of a reproduction piece result in categorisation as either Estate or Pre-Owned. Heirloom Jewellery will ALWAYS state clearly when a piece is reproduction, and frowns upon the subversive use of the word "style" favoured by many other jewellers. We believe reproduction pieces must always be clearly advertised and labelled as such to avoid buyer misinterpretation.

3. Availability to All.

Heirloom Jewellery believes that superior jewels should be more readily available to all, and are in the unique position of being able to offer important Diamond jewellery for around half the price involved at a good quality High Street jewellers and more than likely a quarter of that from Tiffany (for items of comparable quality.) We work hard, scouring the country specifically for high quality 20th Century pieces which have had little or no wear, yet must by law be sold as second hand or pre-owned. Many of these pieces have come to us from retired jewellers or even bankrupt stock, and can range from 1/2 Carat Diamonds to 4 carats plus. Sold new, some of these pieces could have a retail tag of over £20,000, but as new jewellery depcreciates dramatically the second it leaves the shop we are able to offer them for substantially reduced prices. No longer are the Diamonds of your dreams restricted to mere fantasy.

4. Unique Pieces.

At Heirloom Jewellery we believe that jewellery is a deeply personal element and should reflect your own unique style and individuality. The beauty of jewellery resides in the endless design possibilities, and in the case of Antique jewellery, the rarity dictates the uniqueness of an item. We try to offer our customers something different and exceptional, as far removed from"the norm" as possible. Like art, the timeless beauty of jewellery should always be in the eye of the beholder rather than pages of a fashion magazine.
