Very heavy Victorian 18 Carat Gold Old Mine Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring bearing the hallmark for London 1885.

A wonderfully tactile piece, the Diamond is claw set and weighs approximately .60 Carats. With a clarity of approx SI and colour H-I it is a very nice quality stone, as antique diamonds were cut with a bias towards weight rather than clarity.

A lovely item which remains in excellent condition.
