Description
Lovely
late Edwardian 9 Carat Gold Garnet bar brooch.
Featuring
intricate Gold detailing to the elaborate
setting and a tiny compartment to the reverse to contain a
lock of hair.
There
is some wear to the hallmark so although we can tell that
it was made in Chester, UK, unfortunately
we are unable to tell for definite whether it was made in
1906 or 1918.
In either case it is
a lovely example of Early 20th Century style and measures
just over 1.5" in length.
