don’t often come across antique jewellery from Australia
so this is a really unusual find for us. It’s a beautiful
piece, set with a Green Pear Cut Tourmaline
of approximately 1.75 Carats and a matching
Round Tourmaline of just under 2
Carats in weight.
Its
elegant 9 Carat Gold, typically Art
Nouveau design makes this a timeless and wearable
piece which has received only minimal cleaning from us in
order to preserve the stunning patina. It is in excellent
condition and remains complete with its original box from
Fairfax & Roberts in Sydney who were well respected jewellers
at that time.
The
total length of the pendant section is 2.5” while the
maximum width is 2”. The chain is 17” long and
terminates with a traditional barrel clasp.
