Description

This piece really does have it all; not only is it extremely stylish, it is also excellent quality and elegantly sophisticated in composition.

Circa 1900, it is French in origin and therefore certainly a higher carat gold than the standard British 9ct.

It takes the form of a stylised knot with a central Seed Pearl leading to two further suspended Seed Pearls. These hang from tulip design terminations which are delicately enamelled in pale green.

It bears the mark “Repose” to the reverse which indicates it's origin, and it's design is distinctly Art Nouveau which makes it a highly desirable and increasingly collectable piece.

Aside from two very small dinks to the reverse (which do not detract at all) it is in excellent condition. Including the suspender it measures approximately 50mm long x 28mm wide.
