A
superb quality piece, beautifully made and with huge aesthetic
appeal. Made in Italy he has been decorated
with red, green, blue and black enamel and
glistening cabochon Emerald eyes. Perched
on a golden branch there are two tiny rubs to one wing although
he is otherwise perfect.
Unfortunately
the marks are too small to read but he is almost certainly
high carat. We always guarantee no less than
9 Carat, however the Italians are well known for their 18
Carat jewellery and he is so beautifully made we
would be very surprised if he was less than that.
A
highly unusual and wearable piece.
He
measures 2.25" in length.
