Description
These
gorgeous earrings, circa 1950 boast twin creamy white Pearls
of 9mm diameter part encircled by a crescent of super quality
Marquise and Brilliant Cut Diamonds with
a total weight of approx 1.07 carats per earring.
Set
in 18 carat white gold with post and clasp
backs (for pierced ears,) each Marquise Diamond weighs approx
.20 carats and each Brilliant approx .03 carats. We have judged
them to be approx VVS-VS clarity and G colour.
Purchased
as part of a collection they really are superb quality earrings.
The original lady owner informed us that the Bucherer box
is the original, and although the stamp marks on the earrings
are too small to confirm for definite that the earrings are
by Carl Bucherer, the quality of not only these earrings but
also the quality and designers of the collection itself lends
credence to her statement.
They
measure 0.75” in width.
