Description
It's
widely known that earrings are possibly the most difficult
items of antique jewellery to find. So often one is lost or
broken, so it is always a breath of fresh air to find a complete
pair in good condition.
These
earrings are early Edwardian in date and are traditionally
made from 9 Carat Gold. Twin round Purple
Pastes suspend Oval Amethysts which
in turn suspend twin large Pear Cut Purple Pastes. The colour
match is so good it is impossible to tell which are which
just by looking at them.
They
are in fabulous condition with post and butterfly fittings.
They measure 2" in length and the Pear Cuts are approximately
11x6mm.
