Description
Scintillating
Art Deco Diamond Ring Circa 1939.
Typically set in Platinum (the metal of
choice for the Deco era) this fabulous piece boasts a central
Old European Cut Diamond flanked either side by twin
Brilliant Cut Diamonds surrounded by further Round
and Baguette Cut Diamond panels.
The
three principle Diamonds together weigh an impressive 1.15
Carats and all are SI clarity. These
main Diamonds are approx H - J colour. The
influence of the Art Deco era can clearly be seen in the clean,
geometric lines and bold design, all of which were heavily
influenced by the Cubist Art Movement in the Early 20th Century.
A
true one of a kind item, these pieces are
becoming increasingly rare and sought after with each passing
year. This piece is in superb, virtually untouched condition
in part due to it's superb quality. Even the gallery and under
setting are highly ornate despite the fact that they cannot
be seen when worn which is a definitive sign of superior craftsmanship.
It
is a UK size Q, US approx 8.5.
Price:
£4,950.00 (approx $8,900.00 USD)
