we have ever come across. Earrings are notoriously difficult
to find as so often one has been lost or damaged over time.
To find a pair of original Victorian earrings
in such amazing condition is a real rarity.
They
are Silver Gilt, edged with black
enamel and set with teardrop shaped Sardonyx.
Their
egyptian influence is apparent, from the stylised scroll design
panels to the enamel edging on the drops. They are in superb,
unworn condition and are very wearable.
