Unique Edwardian Memorial Pencil. Ref:aslc376

Description

An unusual piece unlike any we have seen before. This appears to be a memorial item dedicated to King Edward VII who reigned between 1901 - 1910. The black outercasing is decorated with blue glass beads, the colour of Forget-Me-Nots which were still highly symbolic at this time. To the centre is an oval photograph depicting the King himself.

The retractable pencil (complete with lead) also features a blue glass bead to the top and is in excellent working order.

As the photographs show the casing does have some signs of wear but none which detract from the item itself which is not only a good quality pencil but also an interesting historical artifact.

It measures approx 3" in length.

Price: £195.00 (approx $380.00 USD)
