a beautiful 1.5 Carat Old European Cut Diamond
it is an effortless blend of elegance and opulence.
The
Diamond pre-dates the shank by several decades and was more
than likely cut pre-1900. Old Cut Diamonds are becoming increasingly
rare and therefore sought after, particularly examples such
as this which exceed average sizes and have a superb
colour and clarity grading of I-J and SI.
It
is set into a later 18 Carat Gold twisted
shank and setting, which despite it's age remains in excellent
condition. This piece was obviously treasured.
