This gorgeous Oval Old Cut Diamond solitaire ring could justifiably be labelled as an Estate piece, and simultaneously as an Antique item. The Old Cut was replaced by the Brilliant Cut at the beginning of the 20th Century, making this Diamond an antique, whilst the shank and setting are modern yet sympathetic.

The Diamond itself is highly unusual in that it is not the usual European (round) or Mine (square) shape, but a gentle Oval. It also boasts the most glorious yellow hue which lends this particular gem a beautifully warm and subtle edge.

Weighing approximately 1 Carat we have graded it's clarity at SI, simply because there is a miniscule carbon spot visible under 10x magnification which is invisible to the unaided eye.

Set in 18 Carat Yellow & White Gold it exemplifies the splendour of Old Cut Diamonds, which are not just unusual but completely unique.
