It
is rare to find a piece as early as this,
and in such remarakbly good condition.
Dated
1847 this enchanting ring was made in Birmingham,
England and features a pretty Oval
Almandine Garnet flanked either side by three Natural
Pearls.
The
delicate setting has a pretty gold wirework surround and features
a scrolling lyre design to each shoulder. Set in 18
Carat Gold (only 18 and 22 carat were used until
1854) it is in lovely condition.
It
is a UK size Q, US approx 8.5.
