Unique Rose Gold Compass featuring golf club and ball detail to the top and the phrase “Far & Sure”.

From a member of Innerleven Golf Club which was founded in 1820 in Scotland. Leven Golf Club began in 1846 and in 1957 both clubs amalgamated to form Leven Golfing Society. There are some slight dents to the reverse but not severe enough to detract. Has lovely original bevelled glass.

Unfortunately the compass no longer appears to work correctly and although we have had it looked at by a professional they were unable to identify the cause of the problem. However this remains an attractive and interesting item of considerable age and historic significance. It measures 1.5" in length.
