Description

Delicate Deco era Diamond twist ring, mounted in Platinum and boasting two Old European Cut Diamonds with a total Diamond weight of approximately .50 Carats.

The Shoulders are twisted and made from Platinum whilst the shank is traditional 18 Carat Yellow Gold. The setting features an ornate claw mount, typical of pieces of this age. This design could possibly be regarded as the origin of the illusion set which became so prevalent in later decades. However, unlike the more recent illusion settings which are often heavy and can overshadow the Diamonds they surround, this setting is far more feminine and flowing, like a sculpted framework around the Diamonds themselves which enhance rather than overshadow.

The Diamonds have an approximate colour and clarity of I-J and SI which translates to ever so slightly tinted white and small inclusions invisible to the naked eye. The ring itself is in perfect condition
