Description
A
true collector's piece this fabulously rare item boasts the
most sumptuous Pink Guilloche Enamel spread
over engine turned solid 18 Carat Yellow Gold
which creates the most delicious luminescence.
The
enamel is simply breathtaking and enhanced by a magnificent
Old Mine Cut Diamond encrusted open wire
work panel to the reverse of the Silver dial.
Around
the edge of the watch, bands of Gold are
visible and accentuated by the contrasting White Enamel
border. The watch itself is a good quality
Swiss Jewel Lever movement which is in good working
order and keeps perfect time.
The
watch is suspended from a White Gold multi
strand brooch fitting which features a staggered pattern of
pink enamel and Seed Pearls. This terminates
in a Rose Cut Diamond studded suspension
loop which is attached to the Fob Watch itself.
Hallmarked
18 Carat Gold in London, 1909
it is a remarkable piece, unique in appearance and superb
in quality. It's condition is for the most part excellent.
The only slight damage to the enamel is slight wear around
the edge which can be seen in the photograph below. There
is also slight damage to the Gold Wire Work panel on the front
as shown. As this is such a delicate item
these do not detract from the piece in any way and is easily
missed when viewing.
It
measures 4" in length.
