Description

This attractive Heart locket was made in Birmingham, England in 1903 and is set to the centre with a single, alluring .15 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond.

The locket is incredibly tactile and made from highly desirable 15 Carat Gold, a carat which was discontinued in 1932. The reverse is engraved with the initials "EM" and the date "27.11.04," over 100 years ago.

The centre contains the original photographs which can obviously be removed and replaced is need be. It is complete with it's original 16" 9 Carat Gold chain - the traditional barrel clasp can be seen in the second photograph.

It measures 1.25" (3cm) from the top of the bale and is in good condition showing only small signs of its previous history.
