Glorious
Victorian Old Cut Diamond
& Garnet Cluster Ring.
Traditionally
set in Silver and then backed in Gold (probably
18 Carat) it boasts delicately scrolled shoulders typical
of the Victorian era.
The previous owner believed
the ring dated from 1895, however it was sized (unfortunately
unsympathetically) in the 1980’s and the hallmark was
lost.
Despite this, and a
small amount of wear to the Silver setting it remains in beautiful
condition and overflowing with character!
It is a UK size L, US approx 6.
